The Mat-Su Borough was awarded the bid to host the 2024 Arctic Winter Games, a week-long event that features 2,000 athletes from 8 contingents of the Circumpolar North, competing in more than 20 athletic competitions in a week-long cultural exchange. As the official marketing partner, Element supports the Mat-Su 2024 AWG Host Society in bringing awareness to the Mat-Su 2024 Arctic Winter Games.
Our Challenge
Design and develop a comprehensive visual brand that aligns with the brand standards of the Arctic Winter Games International Committee while showcasing the unique aspects of the Mat-Su Valley.
Our Solution
Our work began in 2022 with the development of a visual identity and website planning, design, and development. As the official marketing partner of the Games, Element is a strategic partner in consulting their internal marketing team, and is responsible for social media marketing and management, as well as developing collateral such as sponsorship materials, branded merchandise, venue signage, promotional materials, and much more.
Rising Strong
Element aimed to capture the inherent brightness of the Arctic through the use of radial light. The graphic elements and logo design evoke both the movement of the Northern Lights and the athleticism of the Games
